Amy did her Bachelor of Laws degree at the renowned School of Law, The University of Melbourne and graduated with an Honours in 1995. She progressed her career path in a prestigious law firm in Kuala Lumpur for many years. In 2004, upon gaining admission to the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Amy continued a busy practice in Malaysia, including her stint as a partner of another firm in 2010. She was a catalyst to the expansion of the firm, including empanelment by major banks in retail banking works.

 

In 2015 she relocated to Perth, Western Australia and resumed her legal practice in Perth in the area of commercial and property law and family law. In 2018, she established JAC Lawyers as a sole practitioner and through sheer determination and steadfastness, she gained the confidence, trust and respect of clients and colleagues.

 

Over the years of practice, she has worked across various areas of law including in intellectual property, conveyancing, property and retail banking, finance and family laws, as well as wills, probate and estate administration and planning. She can assist individuals and corporate clients and is known for her ethics, honesty and diligence in the deliverance of her works. 

 

Amy is well versed in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.

Joshua graduated from Bond University on the Gold Coast, Queensland with honours in 1998 and obtained a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property, Murdoch University in 2000. 

 

He began a legal career in a prestigious legal firm in Kuala Lumpur in 2001 as an intellectual property lawyer. After pursuing a further legal path in other areas of law, he founded a legal firm in 2007 with modest success. He had continued as the principal partner until he relocated to Perth in 2015.

 

He was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2009 and gained admission to practice in Western Australia 2016. He has had the privilege to work for several firms within the jurisdiction, to gain valuable local experience working with senior partners and regional and farming-based clients in the Great Southern.

 

Through years of legal practice, he has developed the necessary skills and confidence to act in the area of services offered by JAC Lawyers. With a special interest in commercial litigation, Joshua has appeared in Magistrate, District and Supreme Court of Western Australia, the State Administrative Tribunal and Federal Court, in the capacity as instructing solicitor and barrister. Joshua prides himself with attention to detail and provides prompt and sound commercial advice. He takes special pride in his commitment to excellence in legal practice and strive for the highest quality of service and uphold the highest standards of ethics. 

 

Joshua is well versed in English, Mandarin, Indonesian, Cantonese and Malay.
